Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Video Note Fixer (“the App”, “we”, “us”) accesses, collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use the App. It is written to meet Google Play User Data expectations: transparency about data practices, a privacy contact, retention and deletion, and secure handling.
1. Who we are
Video Note Fixer is an independent Android application that runs your own Telegram bot on your phone so forwarded videos can be re-sent as circular video notes. The App is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Telegram Messenger Inc. “Telegram” is a trademark of its respective owners.
2. What the App does
When you use Video Note Fixer, you can:
- Paste a Telegram bot token from BotFather and store it on your device
- Start a foreground service that long-polls Telegram’s Bot API
- Forward a video to your bot; the App downloads it and re-uploads it as a video note
- Optionally send a tip through Google Play Billing
3. Information we collect and process
We process only what is needed for these features. We do not sell personal data. We do not use advertising SDKs, analytics SDKs, Crashlytics, or a developer-operated cloud backend for this App.

4. What we do not do
- No app account, login, or cloud sync operated by us
- No AI processing of your messages or media
- No Firebase Auth, Firestore, Analytics, or Crashlytics in this App
- No advertising or sale of personal data
- No access to your camera, microphone, contacts, or location
5. Third parties
Depending on how you use the App, data may be handled by:
- Telegram — Bot API traffic (token authentication, messages, file download/upload). See Telegram’s privacy policy and terms.
- Google Play — optional tips / Billing, and Play’s own services. See Google’s privacy policy.
Those services process data under their own policies. We do not control Telegram’s or Google’s infrastructure.
6. Retention and deletion
- Bot token, username, and preferences remain on your device until you clear app data, uninstall the App, or overwrite them in the App.
- Temporary video files in app cache are deleted after each conversion attempt.
- Messages and media retained by Telegram are subject to Telegram’s retention practices, not ours.
Because we do not host a user account or cloud database for this App, there is no remote “delete my account” flow. Uninstalling the App or clearing app storage removes local App data on that device.
7. Security
The bot token is stored in on-device preferences with Android backup disabled for this App. Network calls use HTTPS to Telegram and Google Play services. Keep your device secured and do not share your BotFather token.
8. Children’s privacy
The App is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
9. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy when the App’s data practices change. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the App after an update means you accept the revised policy.
